New Update for Pixelix
We’ve just released a fresh update!
- Redesigned Settings page for a better experience.
- AMOLED theme for an energy-efficient display.
- New design for the New Post screen.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Also, we’ve migrated to Jetpack Multiplatform, enabling native Android & iOS apps with a single codebase. Pixelix for iOS is coming soon!
Where did you download Pixelix from?
To be honest we found this settings page in the app "Easter Eggs" and really liked it.
And we more or less stole it
So huge shoutout to the developer! You made one of the most beautiful apps we ever installed! Great work!
Go check out "Easter Eggs" on F-Droid:
A little teaser of the features we are currently working on
The settings page is getting a complete redesign. Also it is a drawer which floats in from the right side now.
We are also working on an AMOLED theme, which is even darker than dark theme
Coming soon

We would like to ask you to donate a few bucks so that we can continue to develop Pixelix at full speed and also start new projects to help making the Fediverse an awesome place. We already have some cool ideas in mind.
Thank you very much,
Daniel and Emanuel

Now for making Pixelix available on iOS we have to invest almost all of our profits we ever made from the app into hardware equipment, meaning we got not much back for our hard work. That is not really sustainable. We are currently still experimenting on how to make open source software development sustainable but as we figured that is a widespread problem which is not so easy to solve. (4/4) ->

Now you can say we are already earning some money because we sell Pixelix for 2€ on Google Play Store. And that's true, but the app is also available completely free on F-Droid and Github, which means the vast majority is getting it from there. (3/4) ->

Hello everyone!
We are working on something pretty exciting. We want to bring Pixelix to Apple devices! Exactly the same app with same functionality, same design and running natively on iOS (Made possible by Kotlin Multiplatform for those who know).
But for that we need to buy at least one MacBook. (2/4) ->
Pixelix is available in all those languages!
Thank you very much for all these contributions
A new AMOLED theme is coming soon!
Which theme do you prefer in Pixelix?
The latest release is now available on Github too. Should be on F-Droid within the next few days.

@thijs_lucas Ja.
