#Radio Irrtum! is a German language #radioShow exploring the sonic vastness of the #underground. Emitted transmissions may raise your attention for new unheard #music all over the genre spectrum all over the planet. Also it's totally fine to ignore that German language aspect - 'cuz it's all about the #music!

This issue felt strange to produce, as it happened abroad, with only my microphone and my laptop: Because of a difficult to handle issue with my parents (still going on). On the other hand, doing that helped me to stay sane… and that's partially because there is:

Die seltsam funkelnde Radiosendung, in der wir die planetenumfassenden Weiten des musikalischen Untergrunds erforschen.

Es fühlte sich übrigens komisch an, diese Sendung unterwegs zu produzieren, nur mit Laptop und Mikro – aufgrund eines (andauernden) heftigen Krankheitsfalls bei meinen Eltern. Aber irgendwie hat es mir mental geholfen, das durchzuziehen; vielleicht auch, weil folgende Genres dabei waren

- krauty Shoegaze
- Dubby Acid
- IDM verschiedener Richtungen
- Dubby Postpunk
- 60s Beat als wären The Kings zurück

Fediverse Künstler:innen sind dabei (u.a. @xylander@mastodon.social mit einem bislang unveröffentlichtem Track oder @RobertaFidora@mastodon.social mit ihrer wahnsinnig energetischen Musik), Creative Commons Musik ist dabei und jede Menge Tunes, die Ihr (derzeit?) nicht auf Spotify (und ähnlichen Services) finden werdet.

Radio Irrtum! ist meine Radiosendung, in der wir zusammen die Weiten des musikalischen Untergrunds erforschen.
Diesmal wird es sich wie ein Meeting jeder Menge verschiedener Musikstile anfühlen:

Usually the first half is more about clubby things (body), while the second half is more about what some wrongly call "difficult" music (for your mind).

Es ist wieder soweit - heute Abend (15.04.2023 / 20 Uhr) wird RADIO IRRTUM! - ausgestrahlt - wie gewohnt auf Alex Berlin (FM 91MHz / Stream https://www.alex-berlin.de/audio/radio-livestream).
Wie immer werde ich Euch gnadenlos durch das musikalische Spektrum der Neuerscheinungen schubsen:
Wobei es in der ersten Hälfte mehr um Club-taugliche Musik geht (für Euren Body), während es in der zweiten Hälfte eher um Musik geht, die ungerechtfertigter Weise als "sperrig" attribuiert werden könnte (für Euren Geist).
Folgen wir also diesem Weg und passieren dabei:

- verrückten Japanpop
- Hiphop Beatmaker Beatz
- Bass (halftime, 140, Trap, sowas - wisster Bescheid)
- mehr oder weniger beruhigendes Experimentelles (und göttliches!) Geräusch

- Punk für Gärtner:Innen (wartet es ab, wird ein gaaaaanz flacher Witz!)

- Liedermachermusik mit folkloristischem Spin

Dabei auch ganz viel Creative Commons Lizensiertes - gar nicht mal aus ideologischen Gründen, sondern weil aus dieser Ecke immer wieder richtig gutes Zeug kommt, was definitiv mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient.
Und es gibt mehrere Künstler:Innen zu hören, die ich hier im Fediverse entdeckt habe (siehe oben). \o/

German language? Well, apart from a rant after the first track — the focus is clearly on mostly unfairly unknown brand new #music, so an international audience is VERY welcome!

Btw: Normally I'd have challenged the chief of the Der Spiegel™ culture-department to this place because of the rant mentioned. But he isn't on the fediverse. He is informed nevertheless so maybe he will chime in for a good and beefy discussion later. Because, when digging deeper into his Der Spiegel™ articles, he actually doesn't seem to have a bad taste in music. The less I understand the thing he did, which triggered my rant which you may experience first hand when listening tonight (show is preproduced, so I'm writing that in past tense).

Übrigens: Hätte ja gern den Chef des Der Spiegel Kultur-Ressorts zu einer Diskussion hier herausgefordert, aber er ist leider (noch?) nicht im Fediverse. Er ist aber informiert, und vielleicht… schaut er doch noch hier vorbei.
Das würde mich freuen, denn: Wenn man schaut, was er noch so an Musikrezensionen schreibt, hat er einen durchaus guten Musikgeschmack. Umso weniger verstehe ich, warum einer seiner Artikel inhaltlich so übel ist, dass er mich zu einem heftigen Rant anfangs der Sendung veranlasst hat (Sendung ist vorproduziert).
