Our two local Crows are back from their short winter vacation. He called in the backyard, and obliging me offered peanuts. He dropped in immediately.

Die #Crows bei der #Erdnussverköstigung. 
Es sind auf dem Foto nur drei zu sehen, aber mittlerweile sind regelmäßig schon 10-15 Krähen dabei. Dadurch ist der Nußverbrauch deutlich angestiegen und ich muss mir für den Winter etwas überlegen was ich noch mitverköstigen kann

Befriending crows is a wonderful thing.
I have many crow friends at home and at work. They bring joy at unexpected moments and can rescue a miserable day even without shaking down the dust of snow that Robert Frost described.
This thread is an updated version of one I posted at the bird site in July 2019.
